LMK Garage is a Mercedes-AMG specialist serving Richmond, TX and the greater Houston area. AMG is a racing bloodline of hand-built engines and aggressive platforms, and we build them the way they deserve: the M177 biturbo V8 in the W205 C63 and W213 E63, the naturally aspirated M156 6.2 V8, the M139 four-cylinder in the A45 S and CLA45 S, and the M178 in the AMG GT.
A proper AMG build is coordinated, not scattered. We sequence the whole car (exhaust, suspension, wheels and fitment, exterior finish, and interior work) so it reads as one intentional build. Performance calibration (ECU/TCU) is handled together with Launch Labs for applicable platforms.

What is the M177 engine?
The M177 is Mercedes-AMG's 4.0L twin-turbo V8 with a 'hot-inside-V' turbo layout, used in the W205 C63, W213 E63, AMG GT 4-Door, G63, and SL63. The related M178 is the dry-sump version in the AMG GT sports car.
Do you still service the M156 6.2 V8?
Yes. We work on the naturally aspirated M156 6.2L V8 (W204 C63, W211 E63 and others) for exhaust, maintenance, and coordinated builds.
